Archive #34/65: A New Medical Centre

The new Medical Centre was built on the site of the old citrus grove.

Its construction was an acknowledgment by the College Council of the importance of providing the boys and the Medical staff with a well-appointed, up-to-date and spacious amenity. It consisted of a four bed Sick-Bay, a Surgery, a Matron’s Flat and a six-bed dormitory. The new building provided for the boys’ health in a more modern, practical and hygienic environment.
