It was a pleasure to share an evening filled with conversation, laughter, and the enduring spirit that continues to bring our Old Boys community together.
The annual Old Boys Dinner, held each year since 2016, welcomed a strong group from the 1950s through to the early 1980s, along with their wives. Those in attendance included Bruce Dunderdale, Roger Alexander, Stuart Gunn, Mark Howard, Hilton Meech, Bruce Worsnop, Rupert Ryan, John McKenzie, David Mossman, Adrian Smith, Ralph Harper, Bryan Mouat, Jim Syme, David Goodwin, Bruce Goodwin, Robert Lockyer and Alisdair MacMillan.
We were delighted to welcome several first time attendees: Jaspar Buttress (65-69), Stephen Lindsay (70-72), Humphrey Walker (80-86), Nick Chrystall (83-87) and Old Boys executive committee members, Jeremy Gilbert (83-87) & Campbell Howlett (80-86).
Rector Stuart Hakeney and his wife Lydia, along with LCOBA President Hugh McPhail, were also present. Bruce Worsnop spoke on behalf of the group to thank Stuart for his service to the college and to present a small gift.
It was very special to have Roger Alexander and Peter McNeil with us, both first day pupils from 1953, and to celebrate Roger's birthday with the group.
